Do not let the name fool you: this wine, traditionally known as the most present on the tables of the Langhe, is not at all sweet. Its original dialect name, duset”, reference to land sheltered from the wind where it’s preferred to cultivate this variety, was transposed into Italian preferring the sound to meaning. Dolcetto shows an unmistakable ruby red COLOR. SMELL is distinguished by a distinctive fruity and almondy scent, whereas on the palate gives feelings of soft tannins and stands out for its harmonious and concentrated TASTE. It is naturally a dinner wine, thanks to the balance of the different olfactory components: you can find it in COMBINATION with appetizers of vegetables or meat dishes, stews but also fresh pasta, simple dish made with veal or beef.
